It was really important to be to have the bridesmaids wear dresses that they feel beautiful in, so I wanted them to choose their own styles. But to add some coherency, we all sat down and decided on shades of a color. Blue was the standout choice because it's the kind of color everyone likes. On the big day, the bridesmaids sported every shade of blue, which looked amazing in the pictures.

There's not much to say about my choice for the color of the bridesmaid dresses apart from the fact that we had a beach wedding and I wanted the wedding palette to reflect that.
