When I was planning my wedding and browsing through all the blogs and bridal magazines, I noticed that bright yellow is actually an uncommon bridesmaid dress color. I wanted to set my wedding apart from the rest and yellow was also really appropriate for our summer wedding. The girls stood out in the best way possible!

Yellow reminds me of sunshine, which is what I wanted my wedding day to be filled with. We chose this taffeta style for the bridesmaids and they carried blue bouquets. It was an unexpected choice, but I thought they looked great for our nautical theme wedding. Yellow can be a hard color to pull off but luckily all my bridesmaids really liked it.
