To me, red is the most classic color. We decided on a traditional ceremony in a church and a country club reception, so everything about the wedding was classic. I wanted the bridesmaids to have that standout look and we all agreed that red was just the thing. They carried white rose bouquets, which contrasted really well.

My husband and I decided to get married on Valentine's Day. Some couples may find that cheesy, but we didn't mind. Even so, I didn't want the wedding to be too over-the-top with Valentine's Day themed décor, so the only thing that we threw in were the red bridesmaid dresses. Everything else was more muted, which was great because it made the red stand out even more.
