I ordered a custom size of this dress and was so pleasantly surprised that it fit perfectly right out of the box! Picked this style because of the adjustable halter straps and pockets and love both features. The halter tie eliminates alterations or slipping on straps. This color is more purple/lilac than photo shows and looks great in person - just FYI if you're the one picking colors. Recommend this dress in particular and Azazie brand as a whole.

0/10 would not recommend. (The date of the wedding was moved up, so I didn't have time to exchange it.) Con: the straps are awfully uncomfortable. First, it ties behind the neck, meaning that you are putting the weight of your bust and the bodice of the dress onto your neck. OW! I had the straps modified to tie to the dress in the back, that helped, but not really. The straps are spaghetti-thin chiffon, and they dug into my shoulders. Again, putting the wieght of your bust and the dress all on two little spaghetti straps. Ow. Con: really really big in the chest. I'm between an hourglass and a pear, not really truly either. Based on the size chart, a size 16 should be perfect! This dress was easily 2 or 3 sizes too big in the chest. My tailor said not much could be done to fix such a bad fit, so I opted for bra pads, and still had room. According to one of the other maids, her dress was crazy big in the chest, too. (Waist and hips were fine) Con: bad sewing practices. Now, This may be the seamstress, it may be the pattern the seamstress used, it may just be a flaw in the design of the dress. But there are two parts of the dress where the pieces were not sewn taught and made the whole look bad. 1: the outer waist band was not sewn taugt to the inner waistband. It never laid nicely or flat and it added bulk to my waist (not flattering). 2: the outer bust fabric was not sewn taught to the inner fabric. This meant that I could shove many bra pads between my boobs and the dress and I could tighten the straps to the max, and have it still look too big because the outer fabric droops. And another sewing/design issue 3) the outer fabric was sewn to the lining of the bust with a little knot of thread right over the peak of the breats. The result was that I had loose fabric that appeared stuck right over my nips. seriously bad. Overall, if I had time, I would have returned it ASAP.
