      Mesh is a lightweight fabric that is very forgiving and a comfortable alternative to chiffon. Think of it as an evolved form of chiffon that looks just as chic, but has more stretch!

      Melanie is an elegant empire cut floor-length maternity gown. Melanie has wide straps and is made of mesh with a stretch knit lining. It includes a scoop neckline with a sewn-in belt. Stylist note- Melanie does not stretch at the natural waist and is best for expecting bridesmaids in their first trimester.  Available in full size range (A0-A30) and custom sizing.

      Can the design be customized?
      A.

      While we do offer custom sizing as an option, we are not able to offer custom design options at this time. We take quality very seriously and to stay consistent, we're unable to make any changes to our patterns and designs, like adjusting the length of a knee-length dress to floor-length, removing embellishments, adding sleeves or changing fabrics.

      Is there any way to get the dress in the color not listed?
      A.

      Because some of our fabrics take on dye a bit differently than our chiffon, we're not able to offer all of our fabrics in every color. If the color you're looking for isn't listed on the dress order page, unfortunately, it means we're not able to make it in that color. I'm so sorry about that!

      I tried a sample of this dress, although I’m not pregnant, because I thought the style might work if we try to get pregnant before the wedding I’m in. Overall, I liked it! Very comfortable, very simple. Would work for pregnant or not.

      I wore this dress when I was 26 weeks pregnant. I went with my pre pregnancy size and the only alterations I needed was to hem the bottom. It was very comfortable and matched the other bridesmaids dresses perfectly. I was a little worried about that since the material is a “stretch” material and not a chiffon like the non maternity dresses. Also, there’s plenty of room to grow in the belly area so I think I could have worn it later in the 3rd trimester, as well.
