My husband and I met when we were both doing a study abroad program in Italy. On our first date, we did the very Italian thing and went to get gelato. We both ordered Pistachio flavor, which was a very cute and memorable moment from our first date. To remember that very sweet memory, we thought that it would be adorable if we had the bridesmaids wear Pistachio colored dresses!

I absolutely love macaroons. They're my favorite dessert and I would eat it everyday if I could. I knew I wanted to go with all earthy tones for my wedding palette because we had a rustic wedding in the woodlands near a national park.
