I knew from the start that I didn't want to wear a traditional, strapless white wedding dress. When I spotted Mist dresses on Azazie, I thought that it would make for a great alternative because it's different but still very light. When I saw the color in person, I fell even more in love! All the guests kept saying how it felt very me.

I was hesitant early on about wearing a white wedding dress because I just don't think I look that good in white. Even though it's traditional, I wanted to find something that flattered me above anything else. I ordered some fabric swatches in really light colors to test out and from those, I liked Mist the best. The blue undertone went with my skin much better than champagne and blushing pink.
