Por qué eligieron Amethyst para su boda
Inspired by one of the most beautiful gemstones in the world, Amethyst is a moderate and transparent purple that's also known as a deeper shade of lavender. Mystical and transcendent, Amethyst is a constant favorite for bridesmaid dresses. Amethyst beautifully complements lighter pinks for a girly look, or contrast Amethyst with gold and navy for a unique palette.

When I got engaged, my grandmother gave me the most beautiful Amethyst pendant. It was one of her favorites and I'd grown up seeing her wear it. I was speechless when I received it. I wore that necklace to the engagement party, and was inspired to have my bridesmaids wear Amethyst dresses. They loved the idea and it turned out to be the perfect way to honor my grandmother.
My fiancé, now husband, was born in February, which means that his birthstone is Amethyst. It's a gorgeous color and I thought it would be a good option for the bridesmaid dresses. He doesn't really know what birthstones are all about, but I thought that it was a sentimental way for me to show my love for him.
I love my gemstones and will admit that I know quite a bit about the subject. Amethyst is supposed to symbolize wisdom and security, which is exactly how I feel when I'm with the man I love. I just thought that it's a great thing for a marriage to be. When I saw Amethyst bridesmaid dresses on Azazie, I thought that it would be the perfect way to reflect that point.
To me, Amethyst is just such a regal color. I really love how it's deep but also transparent. In my opinion, Amethyst is an easier color to wear than a color like regency because it's more of a medium tone. The bridesmaids wore these oversized earrings with purple gems for a matching look, which turned out so amazing.
