Why They Chose Peony For Their Wedding

Peony is a hot pink color that's perfect for any wedding where the bride and groom are not afraid to stand out. This color can fun, whimsical or even elegant depending on how you decide to dress it up, making it a popular color choice among brides.

We chose peony as one of our wedding colors for our 50's rock-n-roll themed wedding. Our bridesmaids wore the Azazie Haley in peony which they complemented with navy blue heels. Our guests loved the wedding theme but we believe the color is to take all the credit for creating the setting.

- Brandy

For my bridal party I wanted to use all different tones of pink I could find for each bridesmaid. Peony was definitely the one shade of pink that stood out the most with its jewel tone. I therefore reserved this color for my maid of honor as peony matched her vibrant personality.

- Krista

My husband and I both agreed to peony because it reminded us of a carnival which was where we had our first date. Being high school sweethearts it definitely took us back to old days and reminded us of how far we have come and have yet to go.

- Cameron

Both being spiritual, we wanted a color that represented harmony and a balance in life. After doing a bit of research we chose peony because it symbolized the right characteristics we were looking for in a partner. Our bridesmaid wore peony colored dresses and I had peonies for a bouquet.
