Q: You and your hubby are so cute! How did you know that your partner was the one?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI knew Mark was the one by the way I never once questioned the way he felt about me. I was immediately so comfortable around him, and felt like I\u2019d been his friend for forever, and just really wanted to be around him as much as possible.<\/p>\n He is so good at making me feel loved, respected, and appreciated.”<\/p>\n Q: Who was the most nervous on the big day?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cMy husband, for sure! Mark\u2019s a big planner, so on the morning of the wedding, he sent me a sweet text followed by a list of little reminders, like, \u2018Please don\u2019t forget to pack your vows!\u2019\u201c<\/p>\n Dresses:\u00a0Yazmin<\/a>,\u00a0Cora<\/a>,\u00a0Kailyn<\/a>,\u00a0Estrella<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Haleigh<\/a><\/p>\n Q: If you could relive any moment during your wedding day what would it be?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThe moment I gave him his gift during our first look. We met at our internship four years ago, and at one point, I wore a blue bandana as a headband that he always remembered me by.<\/p>\n During our first look, I gave him the bandana folded up into a little triangle and told him it could be my \u2018something blue,\u2019 and his pocket square. He started crying immediately and needed to use the bandana to dry his face hahaha.\u201d<\/p>\n Q: Celebrating your big day means making tons of decisions. What was your favorite part of the planning experience?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cMy favorite part was the teamwork that went into the wedding! My husband is very Type-A, and I am very Type-B, so I got to do a lot of the creative brainstorming, while he was making giant poster board seating chart with color- coded sticky notes to represent our guests. Planning our wedding was like a microcosm of how we tackle our schedules in our married life!\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Q: What inspired you to choose your wedding colors\/theme?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI really wanted something that was light, airy, and warm, like the blossoms on the trees during the spring! We also like to say that the colors we chose for the bridesmaids\u2019 dresses was the same color of the clouds at dusk when Mark proposed.<\/p>\n We wanted our wedding to have a very personal, dreamy feel to it, so we brought in a lot of greenery and overgrown blooms!\u201d<\/p>\n Dresses: Yazmin<\/a>, Bonnie<\/a>, Cora<\/a>, Kailyn<\/a>, Felicity<\/a>, Estrella<\/a>, Veronica<\/a>, Britney<\/a> and Haleigh<\/a><\/p>\n Q: We\u2019re so honored that you chose us! Why did you choose Azazie to be a part of your special day?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI fell in love with Azazie when my friend\/bridesmaid Sara showed me the website and ordered me a swatch sample of Pearl Pink! I fell in love with the colors, and how accessible the site was, and how many different styles it offered to my bridesmaid.\u201d<\/p>\n Q: How did you decide on your wedding venue?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cWe chose The B.O.B. as our reception venue, because it\u2019s a staple building to our hometown, Grand Rapids Michigan. It\u2019s also close by the TV station where Mark and I met when we were interns.\u201d<\/p>\n Dress: Estrella<\/a><\/p>\n Q: Many of our readers are brides-to-be. Do you have any tips for these lovely ladies?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cTake time to pause and enjoy the little moments, like the way your significant other\u2019s freckles looked, the way their voice sounded when they saw you, and how it feels to be surrounded by so many loved ones. Do you have anything else you\u2019d like to add?<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cMy husband was actually my dad\u2019s intern (they are both sports anchors, and I am producer), and now we work together at a local tv station! My sister gave me a bracelet with the coordinates of the tv station where we met.<\/p>\n We also wanted to incorporate some balloons into our wedding, because my husband and I really bonded over tying balloons together at a weekly intern event!<\/p>\n Our first look was at the same location where we met for our first date. After our wedding, the anchors at our station showed snippets from the day on air, and mocked Mark for how many times he cried hahah.
