We picked the church because we were looking for a very traditional looking church that was small enough that it would look full once our guests were all inside. The reception was at Sweet Pete&#8217;s\/Candy Apple Cafe&#8217;s Candy Palace. It is a candy store and restaurant in one building, with a beautiful event space upstairs. A bright colorful candy store was just perfect for us and our guests got to enjoy it before for reception began.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azazie.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/34357629793_c598dba8a0_z-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7210\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azazie.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/34357629793_c598dba8a0_z-1.jpg\" alt=\"real, wedding, bride\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Q: Did you have a particular theme or color scheme? Is there a story behind this color theme and why you chose it?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe did not have a theme, but our colors were White, Dark Grey, and Red. White flowers, red roses, and grey dresses, suits, and ties. We wanted a very classic look to start with and we were originally going to have a Christmas wedding. We did all this planning for a wedding around Christmas, but the timing didn&#8217;t work out for us and the venue we wanted for the ceremony was hosting a Gingerbread house show throughout December, so we moved the wedding to May, but the Christmasy colors and Tea Time in place of cocktail hour just stuck.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Q: <\/b><b>\u00a0What was the best\/most memorable part of the day?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe first dance was the best part of the day for me. The price and custom sizing were perfect. We did not hire a planner or day of coordinator, so everything fell on me to make decisions. I kind of gave up halfway through and did not feel like it was worth all the stress. I put off all the planning until I realized that I had tons of people who wanted to help and wanted to be involved. Everything got a whole lot easier when I decided to just have fun with it and let other people make some decisions for me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Q: Where did you find\/hear about Azazie?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI think I found Azazie when I was doing some searching for dresses online that were actually good quality.
