We’re so in love with this fairytale wedding! Elizabeth + Raul’s nuptials were set in a historic monastery with a romantic garden and dramatic architecture that is an absolute dream. Q : Vous et votre mari êtes si mignons ! Comment avez-vous su que votre conjoint(e) était celui-là ?
“I knew Raul was the one about two weeks into dating him. He set up this elaborate surprise at his house all to tell me he had fallen in love with me. I was shocked because we had only been dating for two weeks but when I realized that I felt the same way, I knew we had something special.”
Q : Qui était la plus nerveuse le grand jour ?
“We were both really calm throughout our wedding day and were just enjoying every moment. I actually think my mom was more of a nervous wreck then I was!”

Q : Si vous pouviez revivre n'importe quel moment de votre mariage, quel serait-il ?
“I would want to relive the whole day! However if I had to choose one moment it would be dancing the night away with our friends and family. We were all so happy and together and it was truly just priceless.”
Q : Célébrer votre grand jour signifie prendre de nombreuses décisions. Quelle a été votre partie préférée de l'expérience de planification ?
“The best part of the wedding planning process was picking our venue. Once we had chosen on a location, it was like my whole vision was starting to come to life. The wedding finally felt real.”
Q : Qu'est-ce qui vous a inspiré pour choisir les couleurs/le thème de votre mariage ?
“Since our wedding was in December and Christmas is my favorite holiday, I knew I wanted an upscale Christmas that was still classy and elegant. Including dark reds and greens was a must to pull this off and our gold accents were perfect. We decided to include blush in the bridesmaid dresses and some of the flowers to help break up all of the darkness.”

Q: We’re so honored that you chose us! Why did you choose Azazie to be a part of your special day?
“I ended up choosing Azazie because of the wide variety of choices I had for my bridesmaids. With 8 bridesmaids and varying body types, I was finding it nearly impossible to find one dress that looked great on all of them. After only five minutes on Azazie I found the one we used and fell in love! I was nervous getting the dresses online but having the option to ship the dress to try it on really sealed the deal. Once we tried on the dress we knew it was the one!”
Q : Comment avez-vous choisi le lieu de votre mariage ?
“I knew from the very beginning I did not want a traditional ballroom wedding venue. My sister had recently gone to a wedding at the Spanish Monastery and knew it would be perfect for me. The ancient architecture and the beautiful gardens and cloisters reminded her of Hogwarts in Harry Potter and since I am a huge Harry Potter fan, it was the perfect fit!”

“My tip for brides-to-be is to make sure your opinion is the one one that matters. There will be so many people telling you to do this, or go with this color, or pick this DJ that sometimes your vision and dream can get lost. Just always make sure to take a step back before making a decision and think ‘Is this really what I wanted for our wedding day?'”
Q: We loved hearing all about your special day! Do you have anything else you’d like to add?
“Our wedding day was just perfect and a dream. There is absolutely not one thing I would change about that day. All of our vendors worked seamlessly together, the bar had drinks flowing, the DJ had people dancing nonstop, and our food and cake were absolutely delicious. It is just so incredible that almost 4 months later people are still talking about our wedding day. We even have some friends that joke and say we need to get divorced just to get married again and relive that amazing day!”
