“I am inspired to design for women of all sizes. I encourage our designers to create modern yet elegant silhouettes with flattering details. As a female designer I feel it is important to celebrate women and what better way than to be able to design for their special day”.

Q: What led you to become a designer for Azazie?

A: One of my first jobs while in college was working in a bridal shop as a Bridal Stylist. I loved helping people find their dream wedding dresses and hearing customers’ feedback on what types of dresses they wish they could find. This led to my interest in wanting to design bridal.

Q: What led you to become a designer for Azazie?

A: I love developing new skills and broadening the categories I’ve designed for. My time spent working as a bridal consultant exposed me to the different techniques and details that go into making a gown. I’d flip the dresses inside out and observe the workmanship. I was hired as a sales associate, but during slow days I’d sneak off to the alterations room and beg the head seamstress to teach me new things. The job was commission based so I quickly learned how to find the right dress for each bride’s unique aesthetic and silhouette. It is so rewarding to see someone’s face light up over a gown you picked out for them. Being able to design wedding dresses today is a really special experience for me.

Q: What led you to become a designer for Azazie?

A: My grandmother was a seamstress so I knew from a very young age I always wanted to be a fashion designer. While I was studying fashion design at FIDM, I interned for a LA based designer where I worked on red carpet gowns and music video outfits. My first job after graduating was at a high-end luxury bridal boutique where I fell in love with wedding dresses. I worked as a Seamstress Assistant where I was mentored by some of the best couture seamstresses in the world. Working at Azazie has given me the opportunity to flourish and grow as a designer.
