I was initially attracted to dusk because of its name, as dusk is my favorite time of day. The color turned out to be so gorgeous and exactly what my bridesmaids and I were looking for. We wanted a neutral color that was also unique. I ordered a fabric swatch from Azazie just in case and it was even lovelier in person.
Our wedding had a 1920s Gatsby-inspired theme. But we didn’t want the venue and the attire to be too over-the-top. Dusk felt like a great choice because it evoked that mysterious glamour but was more sophisticated than dresses loaded with sequins. We chose a maxi style with delicate beading on the bodice, which is exactly what we had in mind.
When my bridesmaids and I were browsing through Azazie, we fell in love with this tulle knee-length dress with lace detailing. Since the style was quite girly, we decided to go with a more neutral but still soft color. Dusk was just that and it looked perfect for the pastel wedding décor.
For our beach ceremony, my fiancé and I decided that we wanted to have it from sunset to dusk instead of under the blazing sun. When I found dusk bridesmaid dresses, I was completely smitten. It was just perfect for the intimate and understated celebration that we wanted to have.
