Why They Chose Blue For Their Wedding

A color that reflects the dreamy skies and endless oceans, blue is one of the most versatile choices when it comes to bridesmaid dresses. With its cool undertones, blue makes for a flattering option for all bridesmaids. Pale blue is lovely in flowing floor-grazing chiffon styles and just perfect for ethereal garden weddings. Create a regal look with structured satin dresses in deep blue shades, which are ideal for ballrooms and sophisticated soirees.

READ WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING

It was really important to be to have the bridesmaids wear dresses that they feel beautiful in, so I wanted them to choose their own styles. But to add some coherency, we all sat down and decided on shades of a color. Blue was the standout choice because it's the kind of color everyone likes. On the big day, the bridesmaids sported every shade of blue, which looked amazing in the pictures.

- Sasha

Our wedding was held on this stunning mountainside resort and we wanted to find a color that went well with the surroundings, especially the endless skies. What better color is there than pale blue? Azazie has so many options when it comes to blue bridesmaid dresses, so we picked out different shades of light blue for the bridesmaids. They looked so beautiful with the backdrop!

- Gretchen

There's not much to say about my choice for the color of the bridesmaid dresses apart from the fact that we had a beach wedding and I wanted the wedding palette to reflect that. I wanted a blue that blended into the sunshine and vibrancy of the day. The girls held white seashell bouquets to complete the look.

- Paloma

I had always envisioned my wedding to be incredibly classy and sophisticated. After I saw ink blue, stormy, and royal blue bridesmaid dresses on Azazie, I knew that I had found the right colors. I couldn't decide between those three because they were all amazing so my 'maids sported all of them!

- Diana

In my opinion, blue is kind of a no-brainer when it came to the bridesmaid dresses. It's such a universally flattering color and is the perfect base for bright bouquets and accessories for the bridesmaids. It was great because all the girls loved it too. We chose these strapless blue dresses with weaving detail on the bodice, and paired it with these floral headpieces and dainty old bangles.
