Why They Chose Burgundy For Their Wedding

Burgundy has been seen all over the red carpets this year and it translates perfectly for when walking down the aisle. Burgundy pairs well gold or silver accessories and looks great with more classic and structured silhouettes. Timelessly classy, burgundy is the ideal color for spacious Autumn weddings.

I think burgundy is a really rich, royal, and opulent color. It's pretty easy for any bridesmaid to pull. I wanted a wedding that would be timelessly classy, with white roses and a black tie dress code. Burgundy seemed like the natural choice because I wanted the overall wedding to also have a warm tone.

- Cara

Burgundy has always been one of my favorite colors. Since we decided to have our wedding in this ballroom style venue, I thought it was only natural for my bridesmaids to wear floor-length burgundy gowns.

- Michelle

We were a bit out there with our wedding theme. Instead of a normal beach theme, we decided to do something of a Phantom of the Opera style, and threw our reception at an actual old opera house. The burgundy dresses reminded me of the Phantom's cape, which I knew would look awesome!

- Maya

Burgundy was one of the only colors that managed to suit everyone in the bridal party - that's why I chose it. It's a naturally slimming color, so heftier girls looked thinner. With my maid of honor's super bright red hair, wearing anything else would have made her a bit awkward.
