Why They Chose Taupe For Their Wedding

Taupe has been a standout color in the fashion world for years. This beige-grey color is known for being ultra-chic and is a favorite color for makeup artists and fashion designers for its universal appeal. Seen everywhere on the runways in recent years, and especially popular in the makeup world as well, Taupe is an option that modern brides simply must consider.

From the start, I've never really considered any color other than Taupe for the bridesmaid dresses. I just love that color; there are so many pieces in my closet that are Taupe and I have about 5 nail polishes in that color as well. The girls love Taupe as well. They all looked gorgeous and I couldn't be happier with my choice.

For my bridesmaids, I found these absolutely stunning Grecian-style bridesmaid dresses in Taupeon Azazie, which the girls just loved. We also found these gold wreath headbands to go with them and these dainty metallic sandals. They all looked like goddesses and got so many compliments on the big day.

- Lola

I know that Taupe has been super on trend in the past few years, so I ordered a Taupe fabric swatch on Azazie to try it out. I fell in love instantly because it's just so wearable and flattering for all skin tones. My bridesmaids all had very different looks, so I thought Taupe was the most ideal choice.

We held a very simple wedding in a small hotel. The interior design of the hotel was very classic and chic, and it was in a nice part of Chicago. So I wanted the bridesmaid dresses to be classy and minimalist to go with that feel. Taupe was the only color I came across that fit that description without being boring.
